Biography
Dr. Daniel K. Waktola, is an Associate Professor of Geography in Austin Community College, TX, with expertise in Remote Sensing and GIS. He holds a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and GIS, an MSc in Soil Survey and Land Evaluation, and a BA in Geography. With over 20 years of experience as an educator and researcher, Daniel has taught Geography, GIS, and Soil Science courses at community colleges as well as undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His research focuses on the application of geospatial technologies to address environmental and educational challenges, and he frequently presents his findings at both local and international forums. Daniel has published more than 20 academic papers in peer-reviewed journals. |
